This trip is perfect for solo travelers or for small groups of 2 to 6 people. In the north of Morocco, Toudou is in the desert town of Lamesch is famous for its prehistoric sand dunes, nomadic tribes, and arid plains. Part of the Atlas Mountains, the Saharan desert reaches into the northern regions of the country and covers about 15,000 square kilometers. Toudou is one of the few desert towns that are accessible throughout the year. The sandy countryside, lush with palm trees and deserts abound, makes it a great place to enjoy a break from the daily routines. There are many markets to shop for the typical Moroccan gifts for friends and family and if you’re lucky, you can join a camel or camel-back ride or take a camel ride in your own car. Visitors can hike through the dunes, visit one of the three Moroccan museums or take a camel ride through the desert.
