Welcome to Morrocco

Morocco is a series of vast towns and seaports, punctuated by mountains, wetlands, and the desert – it's easy to be disoriented. The colorful medina of Tangier (and much of northern Morocco) is the most eye-catching and enchanting part of the country, but beyond these cosmopolitan hubs, you can explore the untamed north, the ancient medina of Fez, and the cities of the Rif, as well as the shifting landscapes of the Atlas and the Sahara.

Traditional days out include hiking and camel trekking through the Atlas Mountains, a 4WD adventure across the Atlas plateau, or a drive through the desert to make camp along the Algerian border. If you're really really rich, you can rent your own yacht to cruise the Mediterranean, perhaps with a stop in Lisbon, or get a helicopter to take you to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

There are better ways to get away from it all in Morocco. If you want to relax, take a dip in the famous blue waters of the Atlantic or the Med.
